Day 1: Masai Mara Conservancy
Situated in southwest Kenya, the Mara North Conservancy is a beautiful private wilderness area spanning more than 30 000 hectares. It is home to a spectacular array of plants, reptiles, birds and mammals; including elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and large concentrations of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other migratory wildlife. Leopard Gorge, in the heart of the conservancy, is famous as the setting of countless BBC Big Cat Diaries and National Geographic documentaries. Neighbouring the well-known Maasai Mara National Reserve, this conservancy is vital for sustaining the famous Serengeti wildebeest migrations as well as the endangered African wild dog and black rhino.

Our representative will pick you at your Nairobi hotel/Jomo Kenyatta International AirPort and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Masai Mara game conservation area. On arrival at the airstrip, our professional guide will pick you up, enjoy a game drive enroute as you head to the camp arriving in time for lunch and check in. Later in the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive, spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators till late evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Karen Blixen Tented Camp
Karen Blixen Camp, Mara North, Masai Mara is permanent luxury tented Camp located in the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, Masai Mara. The Camp has 22 ensuite luxury tents each strategically placed on the bank of the famous Mara River facing an open natural habitat inhabited by many species of animals.

After breakfast, proceed on a morning game drive to the world-renowned Leopard Gorge made famous by the BBC Big Cat Diary. Before or after lunch, there is time for a camp eco-walk, a swim, armchair game-viewing with drinks or why not book a spa treatment or a visit to our Maasai Manyatta? In the evening enjoy a night game drive in Mara North Conservancy.

Early morning game viewing drive; Try to find the early carnivores as they rush back to their hideout after a busy night of hunting, before the sun catches with them. Return to the camp for a rest, time also to enjoy the swimming pool. Afternoon another game viewing drive.

Rise before dawn for a spectacular Hot Air Balloon ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional at extra cost). OR proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to the camp for lunch then later set out on a late afternoon game spotting safari experience in the conservancy and get the opportunity to spot Africa’s ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

Day 5: Chale Island
Located at the northern end of Msambweni Bay in southeastern Kenya, Chale Island is famous for its stunning white beach fringed by coral reefs, a gorgeous tidal saltwater lake, and a lush mangrove forest known as a sacred kaya (sacred forest). The indigenous tropical flora provides the perfect habitat for birds and primates. Animals on the island include monkeys, baboons, bush babies, avifauna, small antelope, brightly-colored butterflies and many other creatures. Chale offers luxurious spas and relaxation centres, as well as ample opportunities for scuba diving, kayaking, and other watersports. From here, it is easy to visit Diani Beach, which offers more activities including safaris (to see elephants) and thrilling skydiving trips.

Early morning game drive time permitting then return to camp for breakfast. Check out and transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Diani, South coast. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your beach resort. Check in and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure with lunch at your own cost. Chale Island Resort is situated on Chale Island in Kenya, near Chale Beach. Units feature air-conditioning, a private bathroom, a safety deposit box, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The peace and tranquillity here will Slow you down as you relax to the pace of the Swahili coast. For the active there are plenty of water sports including tennis and squash courts and other social games that are readily available. Alternatively talk to our representative for an excursion which can be booked and paid locally. Dinner and overnight at your Beach Resort – Half board
