Day 1 Wakiso District
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities. Thereafter, met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 Kibale- approx. 6 hrs drive
This day we drive to Kibale Forest Reserve via Mityana and Fort Portal, in a breathtaking landscape that forms the Albertine western Rift Valley. We will have several stop overs to relax, and sightseeing as we pass verdant countryside, traditional homesteads and farms. We will have our packed/picnic lunch on the way. Check in and relax for the rest of the evening

Day 3 Kibale – Chimp trek + Bigodi swamp walk
Today you enter the forest in search of the cheeky chimpanzees as well as other primates. Later go for a swamp walk in Bigodi. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 4 Queen Elizabeth – approx. 2 ½ hours drive
Depart after breakfast, drive via Kasese to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and check in at Mweya Safari lodge. Late afternoon game drives returning to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth
In the early morning, we do a game drive in Kasenyi area, within Queen Elisabeth NP, on a look out for the lions, buffalos, elephants, and large numbers of Uganda Kobs and other antelopes. After we will go back to the lodge for breakfast, and relax until lunch time. At 1400 hours, we will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel (2 hours approx.), to look out for the hippos, crocodiles, great herds of buffaloes,
and lots of water birds

Day 6 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve – approx. 4 hours’ drive
Depart early to Bwindi Impenetrable NP (Northern Bwindi), home of the endangered mountain gorilla arriving late afternoon. Lunch at the lodge.

Day 7 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve – Gorilla trek in Bwindi
Breakfast and take a short transfer to Bwindi NP headquarters where you will meet up with excellent local guides/rangers and trackers, who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, hike into the forest with your packed lunch. Return to the lodge and free afternoon/evening to relax.

Day 8 Entebbe
After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for Aerolink flight to EBB departing at 0945hrs arriving 1125hrs connect to your onward flight.

Visas requirements
Ugandan visas are required by citizens of the European Union, the USA and Japan; other nationals basically with the principle of reciprocity. Entry visas MUST be applied and paid for online https://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/, no visa issuance on arrival, applicants must have a valid travel document not less than 6 months from the date of departure. A single entry visa costs US$ 50, and is valid for three months.
NB- The EAC Tourist visa allows you to visit Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda within 90 days and costs US$

Booking Terms & Conditions
- All quotations are net /non-commissionable and inclusive of statutory taxes/levies.
- Once a booking is confirmed, an invoice will be sent, after which payment should be made immediately to secure bookings.
- We shall NOT be liable for any excursions or extra services NOT booked through our offices while on tour.
- For payments made in cash, US Dollar notes older than 2013 are not accepted, US$ 2 bills not accepted as well.
- Invoices are subject to a fee of US$ 40.00 towards International Bank Telegraphic transfer charges.
Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits
- Gorilla & Chimpanzee permits are confirmed upon payment for the same to Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), who will confirm the permits on first come first serve basis. The Out Of Africa Experience shall NOT be held responsible if at the time of receipt of payments the permits will not be available.
