Amazing safari and beach trip to Kenya
From start to finish, our experience with The Out of Africa Experience — and especially with the incredible Mercy — was nothing short of exceptional. I’ll admit, I was initially hesitant about booking with an African-based tour operator from the UK, but I’m so glad we took the leap. No UK operator could match what Mercy offered — not just in terms of the itinerary, but also the thoughtful, insightful advice that helped us make the most of every moment in Africa.Mercy was with us every step of the way, from carefully planning our dream trip to personally meeting us at the end, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Her dedication went above and beyond, especially when my son dislocated and fractured his elbow just five days before we left. Mercy immediately contacted all of our accommodations to alert them and make special arrangements to ensure his comfort — a gesture that truly speaks volumes about the care and professionalism she brings to her work.This was a trip of a lifetime, and we owe it all to Mercy and The Out of Africa Experience. Great adventure trip
The tour was really great and it exceeded all our expectations! We saw so many amazing animals including the big 5 and the ugly 5 😁, we were very lucky to be able to see a cheeta hunt and many lions with cubs as well. We did somewhat of a road trip starting in Nairobi, to Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake, Ambroseli, Tsavo West and East. Also big thanks to our guide Patrick who was a driving encyclopedia, who‘s driving techniques are at the same high level as his knowledge on Kenia, the parks, the animals, everything! This was super beneficial and we learned a lot. He is also a very nice and positive person, it was a great collaboration and we had some good laughs 👍! It exceeded all expectations!
From the moment 0 of the organization until the last moment, everything went perfect!Shandrack really made sure that my partner and I had the best safari ever and we did! Answering all our questions, offering us the best according to what we were looking for. And literally every time we arrived at the park and at the lodge it was amazing! Thank you so much Shandrack for putting this trip together for us!Another special mention for Patrick! Our safari guide. We did Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. What places!From the moment he picked us up at the airport to the moment he dropped us off at the train station, Patrick was always telling us about Kenya, its culture and the animals. Always trying everything to make us see all the animals. Fantastic Photographic Tour!!! Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Mara North.
Everything about this tour was perfect. Mercy was so very pleasant to deal with from the beginning and throughout! She was incredibly insightful and helpful each step of the way, creating a fantastic itinerary for us over 14 days. We visited Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Mara North Conservancy. Each camp/lodge she chose was perfect! The food was incredible, the staff were amazing, and the experience was one we will never forget. I cannot say enough good things about Karen Blixen Camp in the Mara North Conservancy!!!! Any nature lover needs to visit there! Being photographers, Mercy had even adjusted the vehicle to our specific requirements, something that was an enormous help. Our driver Patrick was an absolute legend to say the least. He was just as enthusiastic as us to be on safari, he was full of knowledge, and we loved sharing stories and laughs with him over the 2 weeks. Patrick ensured we not just saw what we wanted to see, but that we got the photos that we came to get. We were generally the first truck in the park, and often the last car to arrive back to camp - no sunrise or sunset was wasted. We saw the everything we hoped for and more, and Patrick did it all with a smile on his face. I am already looking forward to coming back in 2026 to spend more time in the African bush with Patrick and The Out of Africa Experience. Great Safari Experience
We did Safaris in 4 different National Parks, the whole experience was amazing and our guide Jack, a Massai, a great companion on the whole way. We had great cars, Jack was always punctual and respectful and nice to be around. :)Jack managed 2 different cars, including an open one and one where one could lift up the roof, and we always had water for the game drives.We highly recommend the tour!

Fantastic experience - highly recommend
An amazing trip where we experienced the beautiful national parks, Samburu, lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. We saw a lot of different animals including the big five, millions of gnus, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes and many more. Our driver Patrick was the best, always telling about the animals, the landscape and the Kenyan culture. On the drives between the national parks we got a glimpse into the lives of kenyan people and with Patrick’s willingness to share his great knowledge we got a great understand of both the people and wildlife.We highly recommend The Out Of Africa Experiences to anybody that is interested in exploring Kenya and its wildlife.

A Macknificent Family Adventure with Karen Blixen's Africa Tours!
Our family of four had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya this August, thanks to Karen Blixen’s “Africa Tours & Journeys” now known as “ The Out Of Africa Experiences” . From the first inquiry about this adventure, to the final moments, every aspect was meticulously planned, showcasing the agency's professionalism and care for its clients. I am thrilled to say that the entire experience exceeded my expectations.Wow! It's hard to express in words the Professional, Personable and Attention to detail that was extended to me. I can't not say enough kind words about my African Safari Specialist Penina Onyando. Penina listened to all my wants and changes and never hesitated to oblige. Penina's professionalism, kindness and responsiveness come across in every conversation. She made me feel so comfortable that I had no worries at all.Patrick, our tour guide (driver), was simply outstanding as well. He picked us up from Nairobi and drove us out to the Masai Mara National Park. He was very pleasant and friendly and kept us entertained and amazed throughout the trip; sharing his deep knowledge of the wildlife and the local areas of Nairobi and Masai Mara. Patrick was very punctual but always very flexible. The safari jeep was comfortable and clean. For the duration of the Safari he was always available to us and attended to all of our needs.We stayed at the Emayian Luxury Camp and it was wonderful. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly.We did a few add ons like the Hot Air Balloon Safari (Amazing), the Masai Mara village tour and the airport transfers back to Nairobi. Everything was excellent.Overall, our experience with Africa Tours was incredible. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to have an exceptional safari experience in Kenya.Thank you, Africa Tours for a truly memorable experience!
