13 days Gorillas, chimps and wildlife
Day 1: Entebbe
Arrive at Entebbe international Airport where you will be met by our driver/guide and transferred to the hotel for overnight.

Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park – Approx 6 hours’ drive
You will be picked at @ 7:00am from the hotel by your safari driver-guide and drive via Kampala through the Ugandan remote villages towards Murchison Falls National Park. You will transfered to the Ziwa White Rhino ranch and track the Rhinos on foot. Thereafter, proceed for lunch at Kabalega dinner and continue the drive to Murchison’s National Park and proceed to check in at Chobe Safari lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Time permitting go on a brief evening game drive and return before sunset.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Depart early to Paraa safari lodge arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon we take a boat cruise at 1400 hours upstream to the “bottom of the falls”. The Nile here gets calm at the base of the falls, we stop a few meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”, where it compresses 47 mt to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 mt with a thunderous roar. En-route, marvel at the, hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephants as well as a lot of bird species like Goliath heron, pelican bee– eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 4 Murchison Falls National Park
Morning boat trip to the delta and later return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxed afternoon. Evening game drive in the northern bank of river Nile as we look out for the elephant, lion, Cape buffalo, Rhod’schild giraffe, hartebeest, Oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, spotted hyena and if lucky you could even spot the leopard. We will be back in time to have breakfast and lunch at the lodge.

Day 5 Kibale – approx. 5 – 6 hours’ drive
This day we drive to Kibale Forest Reserve via Masindi/Hoima and Fort Portal, in a breathtaking landscape that forms the Albertine western Rift Valley. We will have several stop overs to relax, and sightseeing as we pass verdant countryside, traditional homesteads and farms. We will have our packed/picnic lunch on the way. Check in and relax for the rest of the evening.
Alternatively take a flight to Kasese airstrip – please ask for the cost of flight supplement!

Day 6 Kibale – Chimp trek + Bigodi swamp walk
Today you enter the forest in search of the cheeky chimpanzees as well as other primates. Later go for a swamp walk in Bigodi. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 7 Queen Elizabeth – approx. 2 ½ hours’ drive
Depart after breakfast, drive via Kasese to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and check in at Mweya Safari lodge. Late afternoon game drives returning to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight

Day 8 Queen Elizabeth
In the early morning, we do a game drive in Kasenyi area, within Queen Elisabeth NP, on a look out for the lions, buffalos, elephants, and large numbers of Uganda Kobs and other antelopes. After we will go back to the lodge for breakfast, and relax until lunch time. At 1400 hours, we will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel (2 hours approx.), to look out for the hippos, crocodiles, great herds of buffaloes,
and lots of water birds.

Day 9 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve, approx.… 4 hours’ drive
After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive at Mahogany Springs lodge for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 10 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve – Gorilla trek
Bwindi NP headquarters where you will meet up with excellent local guides/rangers and trackers, who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, hike into the forest with your packed lunch. Return to the lodge and free afternoon/evening to relax.

Day 11 Lake Mburo – approx. 5 hours’ drive
After breakfast, you will board your safari vehicle, drive through the beautiful scenery, the Kigezi Mountains – you will have stops along the way. You will have lunch at a local restaurant in Mbarara enroute to Lake Mburo National Park. Check in at Mihingo Lodge, late afternoon game drives.

Day 12 Lake Mburo
Spend the day in the park – morning and afternoon game drives; all meals at the lodge.

Day 13 Entebbe – approx. 4 hours’ drive
You will have an early morning game drive, breakfast at the lodge and drive back to Entebbe with a brief stop at the Equator. Lunch in Entebbe, later go on a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, this activity starts at 5:00pm and end approx. 6:56pm. Later proceed to the airport for your flight.

Visas requirements
Ugandan visas are required by citizens of the European Union, the USA and Japan; other nationals basically with the principle of reciprocity. Entry visas MUST be applied and paid for online https://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/, no visa issuance on arrival, applicants must have a valid travel document not less than 6 months from the date of departure. A single entry visa costs US$ 50, and is valid for three months.
NB- The EAC Tourist visa allows you to visit Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda within 90 days and costs US$

Booking Terms & Conditions
1) All quotations are net /non-commissionable and inclusive of statutory taxes/levies.
2) Once a booking is confirmed, an invoice will be sent, after which payment should be made immediately to secure bookings.
3) We shall NOT be liable for any excursions or extra services NOT booked through our offices while on tour.
4) For payments made in cash, US Dollar notes older than 2013 are not accepted, US$ 2 bills not accepted as well.
5) Invoices are subject to a fee of US$ 40.00 towards International Bank Telegraphic transfer charges. Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits Gorilla & Chimpanzee permits are confirmed upon payment for the same to Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), who will confirm the permits on first come first serve basis. The Oiut Of Africa Experience will NOT be held responsible if at the time of receipt of payments the permits will not be available.
