Uganda Safari Experiences

Known as the “Pearl of Africa”, Uganda offers a unique safari experience with remarkable biodiversity and stunning landscapes. A Uganda safari brings you face to face with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas, and with chimpanzees in the rainforest of Kibale.

Spot the famous tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth National Park, cruise among hippos on the Kazinga Channel, and watch the Nile thunder through a narrow gorge at Murchison Falls. With primates, big game and lush green scenery in one trip, Uganda delivers wildlife encounters unlike anywhere else in East Africa.

☀ When to Go

The drier months, December to February and June to September, are best for gorilla tracking and wildlife viewing, with firmer forest trails and easier game drives.

🦍 Gorilla Permits

Gorilla trekking permits are limited and sell out, especially in the dry seasons, so book well in advance. We secure your permits as part of your Uganda safari.
