Visiting Victoria Falls in Zambia, you’ll see columns of spray from miles away, as the falls plunge across a width of nearly two kilometres into a gorge over 100 metres deep. The wide basalt cliff transforms the Zambezi from a wide, placid river into a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges.

The falls, the bridge, the lookout tree and a path along the edge of the forest offer unparalleled panoramic views. Activities range from helicopter rides and bungee jumping to white-water rafting and gentle boat cruises on the Zambezi.
